DreamScapes Receives MNLA Award for Excellence in Landscaping

Several members of the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA) were recently honored with an MNLA Award for Excellence in Landscape. Among those honored through the Landscape Awards program was DreamScapes landscape designer, Clarissa Cooper.

A panel of practicing professionals in landscape education, landscape architecture and horticulture judged each entry based upon quality of design, appropriateness of materials used and the superiority of the workmanship. Entries are not judged against each other, but rather against standards of excellence in the green industry.

The Project was noted by the judges for:

“Overall design is excellent, great use of materials help create a unified solution.”

“…the designer was not afraid to make really creative and out-of-the box suggestions to the client. This might have been just an outdoor pool area, but the designer, along with the architect and contractor, really brought the project up a few notches and carried the design through the house and outdoors.

“This is a transformational project that delivers a high quality space for the owner.

The Minnesota Nursery & Landscape Association is the state’s largest and oldest green industry trade association with more than 1,000 member businesses including garden centers; landscape contractors and designers; tree and flower growers; irrigation contractors; and lawn, tree, and garden professionals.
